Bio
Redmond artist, Magali Lenarczak, grew up in the French Alps and French Riviera. Her thirst for adventure propelled her to the United States; she met her husband and chose to raise their family in the Pacific Northwest.
Each artwork Magali creates is a story told in vibrant color, inspired deep within her; she uses that connection to capture feeling and emotion. She has a unique perspective on self-expression and the creative process.
Her award-winning, imaginative paintings are collected and exhibited in the United States and Europe.

Statement
I love to experiment with various techniques and methods when creating art. The discovery of yupo was a game-changer for me. This synthetic paper doesn't absorb paint, which has opened up limitless creative opportunities. I was thrilled to find a medium that allowed me to push the boundaries of my artwork. The paint remains vibrant on the slick surface; the pigments interact with water and produce unique results. Although I value aesthetics, my primary focus is on meaning and content.
As time goes by, my artistic style transforms into a semi-abstract approach. I consider myself fortunate to be able to pursue my passion, and it brings me great joy and gratitude when others appreciate and connect with my work.
